Women’s Day is on the 8th of March. With every passing year, the day is getting more and more relevant. From the way Women’s Day is celebrated these days to the kind of conversations we have on social media around the subject is changing. Big time. The good thing is that we have moved on from discussing simpler issues to debating on more complex challenges that women face daily. And we are doing it unapologetically. The bad thing is that there is still a long way to go.

Like any other brand, McDonald’s is also a workplace of several women who have had a difficult journey to reach where they have reached. From conservative families who do not encourage women to work, to not so bright educational qualifications that do not help, the hurdles these women face come in all shapes and sizes.
